Wego has entered into a strategic partnership with the
Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency to strengthen how travellers
across the Middle East and North Africa discover and plan trips to Türkiye. The
collaboration focuses on integrating curated destination content, practical
insights and planning tools directly into Wego’s digital ecosystem.
The initiative responds to growing demand for travel
experiences that combine accessibility with cultural depth. By embedding
Türkiye’s tourism offerings into the platform, travellers can explore a wide
range of destinations—from iconic landmarks to lesser-known regions—within a
single, streamlined planning environment.
Expanding access to diverse travel experiences
Türkiye’s appeal lies in its diversity, spanning
ancient civilisations, Ottoman heritage and modern urban life, as well as
Mediterranean and Aegean coastlines. Through Wego, users can navigate
experiences across Istanbul’s historic districts, the landscapes of Cappadocia,
the coastal destinations of Antalya and Bodrum, and the thermal terraces of
Pamukkale.
The platform aims to present these experiences
alongside practical travel information, enabling users to design trips that
match their interests—whether short city breaks, family holidays or multi-stop
itineraries.
Focus on smarter and more intuitive planning
“Türkiye continues to resonate strongly with
travellers across the MENA region,” said Mamoun Hmidan, Chief Business Officer
at Wego. “Through this collaboration, we are enhancing how travellers discover
and plan their journeys by bringing meaningful content and inspiration directly
onto our platform.”
Sinan Seha Türkseven, General Manager of the Türkiye
Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, подчеркнул the importance of reaching travellers through
familiar digital channels. “Partnering with Wego allows us to engage a broad
audience across the region and present Türkiye as a destination that combines
familiarity with depth,” he said.
Supporting the full travel journey
The partnership introduces curated inspiration,
seasonal highlights and detailed destination information, covering UNESCO World
Heritage Sites, culinary traditions and wellness experiences. Accommodation
options range from boutique hotels to all-inclusive resorts, supported by
strong air connectivity across multiple international gateways.
By combining content, booking tools and travel
insights, Wego and TGA aim to encourage deeper exploration of Türkiye
throughout the year—positioning the country not only as a popular destination,
but as a multifaceted travel experience shaped by culture, history and
landscape.
