Lufthansa introduces Allegris cabin on Munich–Singapore flights

Lufthansa has introduced its new Allegris cabin concept on flights between Munich and Singapore, extending its latest long-haul passenger experience to one of its important Asian destinations. The route is now being operated with Allegris-equipped aircraft, offering redesigned cabins and a wider selection of seating options across all travel classes.

The introduction forms part of Lufthansa's investment in modernising its long-haul product. Allegris has been developed to provide passengers with greater comfort and more personalised seating choices, reflecting different preferences and requirements during intercontinental journeys. The cabin concept encompasses all travel classes rather than focusing exclusively on premium passengers.

Singapore plays a significant role in Lufthansa's international network as a centre for business, trade and tourism. The Munich connection serves travellers flying between Southeast Asia and Europe, including passengers transferring at Lufthansa's Bavarian hub to other destinations. The introduction of Allegris strengthens the airline's passenger offering on this route while supporting its broader development of long-haul services in Asia.

Airbus A350-1000 to join the route in December

A further change is planned for the first weeks of December 2026, when Lufthansa intends to introduce the Airbus A350-1000 on the Munich–Singapore connection.

According to the airline, the route will then be served alternately by Airbus A350-1000 and A350-900 aircraft, both featuring the Allegris cabin concept. The deployment will bring Lufthansa's newest long-haul aircraft type to Singapore while maintaining the upgraded onboard experience across the two aircraft variants.

The Airbus A350-1000 will become part of Lufthansa's Singapore operations as the airline continues to renew its long-haul fleet and develop its cabin products.

For passengers, the principal change is the availability of the Allegris experience on a route linking two major international aviation markets. The redesigned interiors offer additional seating choices and comfort features intended to accommodate different travel needs.

The Singapore introduction also reflects Lufthansa's continued focus on connections between Asia and Europe. By combining its updated cabin product with the planned deployment of the A350-1000, the airline is extending its long-haul modernisation programme to another important international route.
