Air Passenger Numbers in Türkiye Exceed 64.2 Million in First Four Months of 2025
This
includes 278,513 domestic flights and 236,031 international flights, totaling
693,916 aircraft movements, including overpasses.
In
April alone, 19.74 million passengers traveled by air, marking a 5.6% increase
compared to the same month last year.

Airport Leads in Passenger Traffic
Istanbul
Airport, one of Türkiye's flagship infrastructure projects, handled 44,784
flights in April, with 6.97 million passengers served – 1.46 million on
domestic routes and 5.51 million on international routes. From January to
April, the airport recorded 166,422 flights and served 24.94 million
passengers, including 4.89 million domestic and 20.05 million international
travelers.
Tourism
Centers See Significant Passenger Traffic
Airports
in tourism hotspots welcomed 10.27 million passengers over four months, with
5.08 million on domestic flights and 5.19 million on international routes.
Antalya Airport led the way with 5.65 million passengers, followed by Izmir
Adnan Menderes Airport with 3.31 million, Mugla Dalaman Airport with 608,364,
Mugla Milas-Bodrum Airport with 511,869, and Gazipasa Alanya Airport with
182,600.
Minister
Uraloglu emphasized that these numbers highlight the ongoing recovery and
growth of Türkiye’s aviation and tourism sectors.
