The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism is
spotlighting Vietnam’s tourism potential at ITB Asia 2025 with an extensive
promotion program in Singapore from October 14–19, 2025. Designed to expand the
city’s tourism reach across Asia, the initiative combines business networking,
product marketing, and cultural showcases to highlight Ho Chi Minh City as a
dynamic and diverse destination.
Expanding Regional Reach Through Collaboration
Under the banner of the Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City
Tourism Promotion Program in Singapore 2025, the delegation is presenting
Vietnam’s most distinctive destinations — with a special focus on Ho Chi Minh
City, newly expanded through administrative restructuring — to international
tourism partners, airlines, and travel companies.
The program supports business-to-business connections
between Vietnamese and regional enterprises, creating new opportunities for
collaboration and investment. It promotes Ho Chi Minh City’s key tourism
offerings, including MICE tourism, luxury coastal and island resorts, cultural
and historical travel, and culinary experiences.
Showcasing Vietnam at ITB Asia
From October 15–17, the city’s joint tourism booth
(Hall A, Booth W25) at ITB Asia features interactive activities, destination
presentations, and traditional art performances such as Ao Dai painting. Major
Vietnamese tourism enterprises, together with Vietnam Airlines, are
participating to strengthen cooperation and build global networks.
On October 17, the department will host meetings with
Singaporean tourism authorities and private-sector partners to develop joint
products and enhance connectivity between Ho Chi Minh City and other
destinations across Asia. These sessions aim to attract more Singaporean
travelers to Vietnam and to invite high-quality buyers to attend ITE HCMC 2026,
the city’s flagship international tourism fair.
Integrating Culture and Innovation
Complementing the business program, Ho Chi Minh City
will join the Vietnam Phở Festival 2025 in Singapore (October 18–19), offering
visitors a cultural and culinary gateway into the city’s rich heritage. The
delegation will also participate in ITB Asia conferences and seminars to
exchange insights on global tourism trends and innovation in destination
management.
Strengthening Ho Chi Minh City’s Position in ASEAN
According to the Department of Tourism, the initiative
reinforces Ho Chi Minh City’s standing as a leading destination in ASEAN and on
the global tourism map. It also underscores Vietnam’s broader strategy to boost
international visibility, foster sustainable tourism development, and enter a
new era of growth driven by innovation and collaboration.
