Tourexpi
The
hotel, developed in collaboration with Al Musbah Group, is set to open later in
2025 and will be located in the heart of Madinah, one of the world’s most
important religious tourism destinations.
Situated
just north of the central Haram area, the hotel will offer direct pedestrian
access and views of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, ensuring a convenient and comfortable
experience for guests. The location also benefits from excellent transport
connections, including close proximity to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz
International Airport and the Haramain High-Speed Rail, linking Makkah,
Madinah, and Jeddah.
Mohammed
Almusbahi, Director of Al Musbah Group, commented, “We are proud to collaborate
once again with Hilton to bring the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton to the
Kingdom. With its strong connection to local heritage, this hotel will provide
pilgrims and visitors with a genuinely authentic experience in Madinah. Our
continued partnership reflects a shared vision to support the Kingdom’s
hospitality development and deliver world-class offerings in key cities.”
Diyar
Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will feature 221 guest rooms and suites, an
all-day dining restaurant, a café, and a fitness centre. The design concept
draws inspiration from the iconic Ajwa date—cultivated exclusively in
Madinah—adding a culturally rich dimension to the guest experience.
Carlos
Khneisser, Hilton’s Vice President of Development for the Middle East and
Africa, said, “We are excited to introduce the Tapestry Collection brand to
Saudi Arabia with this new signing. This project underscores our longstanding
relationship with Al Musbah Group and our commitment to expanding and
diversifying Hilton’s presence in the Kingdom’s key destinations.”
Tapestry
Collection by Hilton is a global portfolio of unique, independent hotels that
combine individual character with elevated design and locally inspired food and
beverage experiences. The brand offers travellers authentic stays in
destinations worth discovering.
Hilton
currently operates 20 hotels across Saudi Arabia and has 77 more under
development—representing a quarter of all branded hotel rooms currently under
construction in the country. Among recent signings is Spark by Hilton Makkah
Aziziyah, also with Al Musbah Group, which introduces Hilton’s premium economy
brand to the Middle East and Africa. Hilton’s expanding pipeline aligns with
Saudi Vision 2030 and reinforces its role in shaping the future of the
Kingdom’s hospitality landscape.
