Just in time for the start of the summer holiday
season, Eurowings is introducing a range of new services designed to make
flying more enjoyable for families. Alongside new entertainment for young
passengers, the airline is also offering exclusive onboard discounts and
additional booking benefits for families travelling with children.
New onboard entertainment for young travellers
Children can now enjoy an exclusive "WAS IST
WAS" booklet about aviation, developed by Eurowings in cooperation with
publisher Tessloff. The educational publication explains the world of flying in
an entertaining and age-appropriate way. A colouring and activity book created
together with Europa-Park, including a pencil set, provides additional
entertainment during the flight.
The airline has also added a plush aircraft in the
design of cooperation partner SalzburgerLand to its range of children's gifts.
The complimentary items are distributed by the cabin crew while stocks last.
Discounts on board and before departure
From August until the end of October, families will
receive a 10 per cent discount on purchases of 20 euros or more in the WINGS
Bistro & Shop. The offer applies to food, beverages and other onboard
products and is granted directly by the cabin crew during the flight.
Families also benefit when booking their trip.
Customers who make a reservation through a free myEurowings account receive a
20 per cent discount on flight tickets for children aged between two and
eleven.
Additional benefits for family travel
Eurowings also allows each child to travel with two
pieces of children's equipment, such as strollers, buggies or foldable wagons,
free of charge. With the expanded range of onboard activities and
family-focused benefits, the airline aims to ensure that the holiday experience
begins as soon as passengers step on board.
