Radisson Hotel Group expands across Southeast Asia and the Pacific

Radisson Hotel Group continues to accelerate its expansion across Southeast Asia and the Pacific with new openings and development projects in Vietnam, the Philippines, Australasia, Thailand and Indonesia. The company is pursuing a market-specific strategy that combines the right brands with local demand and owner objectives, strengthening its position in both established and emerging destinations.

"Our recent openings and signings demonstrate how we are working with both established and new partners to create distinctive hotels and resorts that are right for their destinations and positioned for long-term performance," said Ramzy Fenionos, Chief Development Officer APAC at Radisson Hotel Group.

Strong growth in Vietnam and the Philippines

Vietnam remains one of the Group's key growth markets, with 14 hotels and more than 3,100 rooms operating or under development. Recent highlights include the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ha Long Bay and the signing of the Radisson Hotel Westlake Hanoi, scheduled to open in 2028.

In the Philippines, Radisson Hotel Group now has eight operating hotels and 17 more in development. Recent additions include LIME Resort Bohol, the first Radisson Individuals Premier property in Asia-Pacific, and Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue. Several new projects are also planned, ranging from luxury beachfront resorts to mixed-use developments and branded residences.

Expanding across Australasia and island destinations

The Group is also growing its footprint in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Recent milestones include the opening of Radisson RED Auckland, while new hotels are planned in Brisbane, Melbourne and Queenstown. In Fiji, two new resorts are scheduled to open or reopen in 2027 following refurbishment, and Radisson Hotel Group will also enter Samoa with Return to Paradise Resort, a member of Radisson Individuals.

Thailand and Indonesia are contributing to the expansion as well. Two new Radisson resorts have recently opened in Phuket, while serviced apartments are planned for Phuket and Bali over the coming years.

Nearly 90 hotels across the region

Across Southeast Asia and the Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group now has 89 hotels with more than 17,000 rooms in operation or under development. The portfolio spans major gateway cities, leading leisure destinations, island resorts and mixed-use developments, reflecting the company's continued focus on long-term regional growth.
