ForsaTEK 2025 Showcases Scalable Innovation and AI-Driven Solutions Across the Emirates Group
The
event highlighted how AI, robotics, and IoT are reshaping aviation, while
emphasising the importance of human-centred design in tech adoption.
Inaugurated
by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, alongside UAE Minister of
Education H.E. Sarah Al Amiri, the event featured over 40 showcases across all
stages of the innovation pipeline—from early prototyping to scaled deployment.
Key
initiatives included autonomous robotics for urban security, drone-based cargo
inventory, 3D-printed spare parts, and AI tools for aircraft turnaround
efficiency. Accessibility-focused innovations such as Glidance’s mobility aid
and Airbus’ inclusive cabin design also featured prominently.
A
dedicated Pitch Zone hosted 13 start-ups, while the Experience Zone offered
interactive displays to engage staff and youth in the innovation journey.
Topping the event was the launch of “Afkar,” a company-wide platform to
crowdsource employee ideas. This year’s winning concept: automated visa
validation for travellers.
Keynotes
included thought leaders such as Sarah Al Amiri, Dr. Mark Esposito
(Harvard/WEF), Stanford’s Younes Mourri, and filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, covering
topics from education reform to AI’s societal impact.
