Following
the airline’s Wimbledon-themed offering, this new menu continues the tribute to
British seasonal flavours and will be served across all cabin classes. Curated
by Emirates’ award-winning culinary team, the menu features a range of dishes
that highlight the versatility and freshness of British strawberries.
Passengers
can look forward to classic desserts such as Eton Mess, as well as modern
creations like honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream. Each dish
will include a special note from the chef, offering a glimpse into the
inspiration and culinary thought behind the menu.
Central
to the initiative is Bustanica, the world’s largest indoor vertical farm based
in Dubai, which supplies a variety of premium strawberries, including the sweet
and richly flavoured Monterey. Emirates also partners with Blush from UK and Oaklands
Fruit Farm, a family-run farm located in the Vale of Evesham, renowned for its
high-quality strawberries. Oaklands will provide Emirates with Champion,
Favori, and Karima varieties this season. Known for its commitment to
sustainability and ethical farming, the farm also supports the local community
through educational programs and seasonal employment.
This
seasonal strawberry menu reinforces Emirates’ ongoing dedication to celebrating
global cultures and seasonal traditions through thoughtfully designed inflight
experiences. With its focus on quality ingredients, regional inspiration, and
culinary storytelling, Emirates continues to delight passengers with menus that
reflect the best of what each season has to offer.
