Travel Chaos Continues at Paris-Orly Airport Amid Air Traffic Control Failure

The breakdown on Sunday led to the cancellation of 130 flights, leaving thousands of passengers stranded, some of whom were already aboard their planes when flights were abruptly called off. Paris-Orly, the French capital's second-largest airport, remains heavily affected.

The French civil aviation authority (DGAC) cited an air traffic control "malfunction" as the cause, while an airport source described it as a "radar failure." In response, the DGAC has instructed airlines to cut their flight schedules by 15% on Monday, warning of continued delays.

Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for updates and expect further disruptions as airport operations gradually resume.
