Mövenpick, the brand synonymous with Swiss hospitality
and culinary excellence, announces the opening of Mövenpick Hotel Winter Park
Baku, the brand’s first hotel in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus region.
Situated in the capital’s city centre, the new hotel boasts convenient access
to the Winter Park area, shopping and business hubs, and the Walled City of
Baku, also known as the Old Town, renowned for its historic buildings and
mosques.
Founded in 1948, Mövenpick pioneered the Swiss restaurant
scene and evolved into a premium international hotel brand with inventive
culinary excellence at its heart. Today that same generous and creative
hospitality lives on in each of its 128 hotels around the world, where cuisine
serves as the cornerstone for fostering meaningful human connections, igniting
creativity, and driving positive change. The destination-inspired hotels allow
guests to enjoy meaningful family moments, inspiring business interactions, and
moments of indulgence all over the world.
Operated by Accor, Mövenpick Hotel Winter Park Baku is
the latest addition to the group’s portfolio in Azerbaijan, which include four
hotels in the capital.
“Baku is becoming one of the most sought-after travel
destinations in the region, distinguished by its unique fusion of local culture
and technological advancement. With more international travellers coming to
Azerbaijan, especially drawn by major events such as this year’s Formula One
Grand Prix, our latest address will offer guests a convenient location and the
extraordinary service standards synonymous with the Mövenpick brand,” said Alexis
Delaroff, Chief Operating Officer of Accor New East Europe.
Mövenpick Hotel Winter Park Baku seamlessly integrates
modern design, genuine hospitality, wellness amenities and gastronomic
excellence, catering to both business travellers and leisure enthusiasts alike.
The new hotel boasts 172 rooms across various categories, including six
luxurious suites, each with their own distinct charm. Shades of brown dominate
the functional design, accentuated by bright colours. Each room is equipped
with everything to ensure a comfortable retreat for guests, with panoramic views
of the cityscape.
The recently renovated lobby area is the perfect place to
stop by for a coffee or gather with colleagues and friends. Its modern design
features authentic artwork showcasing the local culture as well as highlighting
the key brand passions of Mövenpick. The 15th Restaurant offers a diverse
selection of exquisite international cuisines, including Swiss delicacies such
as beef steak tartare, Zurich style veal and Swiss carrot cake. The
restaurant’s elegant ambience and generous service make it an ideal venue for
moments of indulgence.
Mövenpick hotels curate rituals and experiences that
create memories, bridge cultural gaps and promote connections among guests and
locals. Mövenpick Hotel Winter Park Baku continues the brand’s tradition with a
daily Chocolate Hour, a creative and immersive chocolate experience held in
every Mövenpick lobby. Additionally, guests can savour Mövenpick’s own line of
gourmet Swiss products, including coffee and ice cream, as well as other unique
gifts and souvenirs: Armudu national tea sets, reflecting local traditions,
gift boxes with local spices, teas and dried fruits and thermoses with the
hotel logo.
Other leisure amenities include a modern wellness centre
with sauna, therapy rooms, barbershop and a fully equipped fitness room.
Guests staying at Mövenpick Hotel Winter Park Baku are
welcome to enjoy a wide variety of rewards, services and experiences as part of
ALL - Accor Live Limitless, the renowned loyalty programme that enhances the
experience during and beyond each hotel stay.
