On Valentine’s Day, Emirates First Class customers will be welcomed
onboard with a glass of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008, and Business Class customers
with Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. First and Business Class customers will
be gifted a mini giftbox of luscious chocolate brownies and mini raspberry
ganache tarts adorned with hearts, and Premium Economy and Economy
customers can savour raspberry chocolate brownies, while red mood lighting
lights up the aircraft. The A380 Onboard Lounge will be serving an array of
sweet treats from lemon and raspberry cupcakes to profiteroles and mini tarts.
In the Emirates Lounges of Dubai, after delicious à la carte and buffet
appetisers and main courses, First Class customers can indulge in a dessert of
passionfruit pavlova with Chantilly cream and an array of red-hued mocktails
and cocktails, while Business Class customers can spoil themselves with a lemon
Valentine’s verbena cake, strawberry and yuzu Valentine’s tartlet or a fragrant
hibiscus, strawberry, and almond mousse. Business Class customers can visit the
Emirates dedicated old-fashioned ice cream cart to enjoy homemade strawberry
cheesecake ice cream, or raspberry and rose sorbet. The complimentary Costa
Coffee café in the lounges will serve ‘Dubai Love’ macarons and truffles, while
Dilmah’s Valentines iced tea is a special blend for the occasion.
Across Emirates 34 lounges worldwide, customers will be greeted with
Valentines-themed dishes and drinks, from a heart-shaped salmon tartare and
smoked salmon roses in Narita, to chocolate covered strawberries in New York,
to decadent red macarons with gold leaf and hearts in Cape Town, and heart
shaped red velvet cake in Beijing.
For romantic relaxation, customers can browse Emirates ice, which
hosts up to 60+ romantic comedies and dramas, including new releases like ‘We
Live in Time’ starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, and all-time
classics ‘10 Things I Hate About You’, ‘The Notebook’ and the
acclaimed Bridget Jones movies. Seductive soundtracks are already curated
onboard ice, with a selection of new and classic love songs in
playlists like Spotify’s Valentine’s Day Love Mixtape and Spotify’s
Love Language Mixtape.
Last minute shoppers can browse an array of gifts for that someone
special, with offers on EmiratesRED available until the 28
February. Customers can purchase two or more specially marked items and
receive an additional 10% discount on a selection of popular duty-free products
including best-selling beauty products and the latest watches, jewellery and
tech. EmiratesRED also has an exclusive inflight discount of US$15, when a
customer buys two fragrances. EmiratesRED pre-order
service is also available on most flights, where passengers can shop from 21
days up to 40 hours before their flight and browse a wide range of exclusive
products. Simply provide flight details during checkout, and the orders are
delivered by cabin crew directly to the seat inflight - for an unforgettable
