Fly Delta App Gets a Major Upgrade for Summer Travel
New
features include the ability for Platinum and Diamond Medallion Members to
redeem Global and Regional Upgrade Certificates directly through the app.
Starting June 1, Choice Benefit selection will also be available exclusively on
the app, streamlining the process for loyal members.
Delta
has also introduced a new partnership with Uber, allowing SkyMiles members to
earn miles on rides to and from the airport, premium rides, and Uber Eats
orders over $40 when linked via the app. Additionally, iOS users will soon
receive real-time flight updates on their lock screen and dynamic island,
including boarding status and in-flight progress.
With
over 97% of SkyMiles Medallion Members already using the app for travel
management, the new updates are set to make summer journeys even smoother.
