The new route marks Delta’s first-ever daily nonstop
service to Porto and is part of a broader expansion across the Atlantic. In
total, seven new European routes will launch next summer, further strengthening
JFK’s role as a global gateway.
Porto: City on the Douro
Set along the Douro River, Porto blends history with
modern energy. Travelers encounter colorful riverfront streets, tiled churches,
and a renowned culinary scene featuring Atlantic seafood and the port wine
cellars that made the city famous. Beyond the center, the Douro Valley
vineyards and northern Portugal’s beaches invite exploration.
Expanding service to Portugal
Delta already flies year-round from JFK to Lisbon and
seasonally from Boston. With Porto added, travelers gain more options for
reaching the Iberian Peninsula.
Service details

Wider Atlantic expansion
Alongside Porto, Delta is adding nonstop service from
Boston to Madrid and Nice, enhancing links to Barcelona and Milan, and
launching new routes from Seattle to Barcelona and Rome. From JFK, two new
