The
milestone marks both a nostalgic farewell and the beginning of a new fleet era
with Airbus aircraft.
Exclusive
farewell flight on November 5
To
honor the occasion, Condor will operate a special farewell flight on November
5, 2025. The aircraft will depart from Frankfurt and fly to Vienna for a
dedicated farewell event, before returning with what the airline calls “the
world’s highest party.”
A
total of 75 tickets for the event will be auctioned via the Condor Shop
starting September 22, 2025. Aviation enthusiasts and long-time companions of
the Boeing 757 are invited to join this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Voices
from Condor
“By
bidding farewell to the Boeing 757, an era at Condor comes to an end,” said Christian
Schmitt, COO of Condor. “At the same time, this marks the beginning of a new
chapter with a modern, more efficient and more sustainable Airbus fleet. Our
farewell flight combines the nostalgia of our last B757 with a joyful look into
the future, symbolized by Vienna, one of our new city destinations.”
Last
chance to fly the 757
Travelers
unable to secure a farewell flight ticket still have the chance to fly on the
Boeing 757-300 in regular service until early November. Condor currently
operates six B757s, connecting Düsseldorf and Frankfurt with popular leisure
destinations including Palma de Mallorca, Hurghada, Fuerteventura and Gran
Canaria.
The
final scheduled flights are planned as follows:
·
October 29, 2025: Düsseldorf – Palma –
Düsseldorf
·
November 2, 2025: Frankfurt – Hurghada
– Frankfurt
A
