Eurowings
Holidays, the rapidly growing tour operator of Germany’s largest leisure
airline, has unveiled a striking new flying ambassador: an Airbus A321neo
featuring XXL sunglasses mounted above the cockpit windows. The ‘world’s
fastest sunglasses’ showcase Eurowings Holidays’ flexible package deals at
airports and in the skies across Europe.
Special
livery for a special mission
The
Airbus A321neo (registration D-AEEA) was chosen for the new livery due to its
central role in the Eurowings “Mallorca Shuttle.” With more than 230 seats, it
is one of the largest and most efficient aircraft in the airline’s medium-haul
fleet.
Palma
as the number one destination
Mallorca
remains Europe’s most popular holiday island in summer 2025. Eurowings connects
Palma with 26 airports across Europe, operating up to 400 flights per week.
Palma also serves as the airline’s largest base outside Germany, where eight
aircraft are stationed.
Growth
of Eurowings Holidays
Spun
off as a separate company in spring 2025, Eurowings Holidays is expanding
rapidly and is expected to establish itself among the top 10 tour operators in
the industry. Its product portfolio combines flights, hotels, and flexible
services into comprehensive holiday packages from a single source.
