Marella Cruises has announced the headline
entertainment for its 2027 Electric Sunsets 80s vs 90s themed cruise, featuring
performances by pop icon Tiffany, Claire Richards of STEPS and actor, musician
and DJ Martin Kemp. The adults-only sailing will take place from 28 April to 1
May 2027 aboard Marella Discovery, offering guests three days of live music
inspired by two of pop music's most memorable decades.
The cruise will depart from Palma de Mallorca, call at
Valencia and Ibiza, and return to Palma.
Star-studded entertainment at sea
Tiffany, whose version of "I Think We're Alone
Now" topped the UK charts, will perform some of her biggest hits during
the voyage. She remains one of the youngest female artists ever to reach number
one on the Billboard album chart with her debut release.
Claire Richards will also take the stage, performing
songs made famous by STEPS, including "Tragedy", "Stomp",
"Better The Devil You Know" and "One for Sorrow".
Completing the headline line-up is Martin Kemp, who
will host a live DJ set featuring classic 1980s anthems, including music from
Spandau Ballet. Dance music fans can also look forward to a performance by DJ
SASH!.
Sixth edition of the themed cruise
Returning for its sixth year, the Electric Sunsets 80s
vs 90s cruise has become one of Marella Cruises' most popular themed sailings,
combining live concerts, themed entertainment and Mediterranean destinations.
According to Marella Cruises, customer research shows
that music from the 1980s and 1990s continues to be one of the strongest
drivers of nostalgia and onboard entertainment.
All-inclusive holiday experience
Marella Cruises includes flights, overseas transfers,
tips, service charges and all-inclusive dining and drinks as standard across
its cruise holidays, allowing guests to enjoy a seamless holiday experience
from departure to return.
