Pullman Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor’s global
Premium portfolio, has announced a major brand transformation that redefines
its hotels as vibrant spaces of exchange for today’s traveler. The reveal
follows the international debut of Pullman xChange, a new event series designed
to spark ideas and connect leaders and creators across industries.
A refreshed Pullman experience
Building on a legacy dating back to 1859, Pullman’s
new direction positions the hotel as a social stage shaped by movement,
connection, and possibility. A defining feature of the new design language is
the Pullman Portal — sculptural entryways inspired by the brand’s railway
heritage. Already installed at Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lake Towers, the Portals
will be introduced at upcoming openings in Perth and Hamilton, with further
rollouts planned as renovation programs continue.
Meeting and event spaces have been reimagined for
flexibility, shifting easily from keynotes to creative studios, workshops or
cultural showcases — environments crafted to encourage exchange.
Culinary encounters with global flair
Bars and restaurants form the heart of the Pullman
experience, designed as lively anchors from morning to night. In 2026, Pullman
will launch Unexpected Pairings, an experiential bar ritual that invites guests
to draw playing cards to discover inventive combinations of food and cocktails
— a playful approach to mixology that encourages discovery and conversation.
Human-centered service for a new generation
Pullman has spent the past 18 months reshaping its
service culture through a learning program focused on empathy, cultural
awareness and emotional intelligence. Around 60% of the brand’s 20,000+
Heartists have completed the training, with full rollout expected in 2026.
Pullman xChange: a global forum for ideas
The inaugural Pullman xChange, held 13–14 November in
Dubai, transformed Pullman Dubai Downtown into an open forum for workshops,
artistic performances and conversations. Developed with the House of Beautiful
Business, the program explored innovation and culture under the theme Build
What Outlasts You.
In 2026, Pullman xChange will expand to Europe, Asia
and South America, with each edition co-created with local cultural
collectives.
Momentum for growth
“Pullman's transformation marks a bold step into the
future — one that fuses our heritage of movement and modernity with a renewed
sense of purpose,” said Benoît Racle, Global Brand President, Premium, Accor.
With more than 150 hotels in over 40 countries and
more than 70 projects underway, Pullman is on track to exceed 200 properties
within five years, supported by strong owner confidence. Upcoming openings —
including Pullman Royal Key Wellness Resort in Guadeloupe, Pullman Kolašin
Breza in Montenegro, and Pullman Tokyo Ginza — will showcase the brand’s focus
on transformative design, creative exchange and revitalized spaces.
