Lufthansa Group Unveils Winter 2025/26 Flight Schedule with New Global Routes
The Lufthansa Group has officially published its Winter 2025/26 flight schedule, with bookings now open across all its passenger airlines: Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Discover Airlines.

The schedule takes effect on 26 October 2025, placing strong emphasis on stability, punctuality, and reliability, particularly during the busy holiday season.

Premium Cabin Expansion with Allegris

Lufthansa is significantly expanding its Allegris cabin offering, the airline’s latest generation of long-haul seating across all classes: Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. Starting 26 October, passengers flying from Munich can enjoy Allegris comfort on daily flights to:

·         New York (JFK & Newark)

·         Chicago

·         Miami

·         Shanghai

·         Cape Town

·         Tokyo

Additionally, Bengaluru will be served three times weekly, marking the largest simultaneous deployment of Allegris aircraft to date.

Currently, ten Airbus A350-900s featuring Allegris are in service, with exceptional customer satisfaction nearing 100%. Lufthansa also plans to introduce Allegris in Frankfurt, beginning with Boeing 787-9s and retrofitted Boeing 747-8s.

·         Continued flights to Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Oradea (Romania)

·         Airbus A380 routes from Munich confirmed for Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi

Austrian Airlines

·         New route: Innsbruck – Amsterdam, complementing Brussels, Warsaw, and Copenhagen

·         Expanded Vienna – Bangkok service: now up to two daily flights

·         Switch from Milan Malpensa to Milan Linate for faster city access, using newly acquired ITA Airways slots

SWISS

·         Increased service to Krakow, with continued flights to Cluj-Napoca and Košice

·         Long-haul service to Washington, D.C. continues

·         Geneva focus: Enhanced links to UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia, ideal for winter sports travelers

Brussels Airlines

·         More flights to West Africa: Additional weekly connections to Lomé, Dakar, Conakry, Monrovia, Accra, and Freetown

·         Reinforces its position as Lufthansa Group’s “Africa Expert”

Eurowings

·         New long-haul from Berlin to Abu Dhabi (3x weekly)

·         Berlin – Dubai expanded to 11x weekly

·         Hanover – Dubai launches 4 November (3x weekly)

·         Stuttgart – Jeddah starts with 2x weekly

·         Expanded Egypt service: Marsa Alam flights from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin

Discover Airlines

·         New: Frankfurt – Seychelles, a first-ever direct link from Germany’s financial capital

·         Munich – Punta Cana: Only non-stop to the Dominican Republic

·         Frankfurt – Alta (Norway) added for winter adventure seekers

The Lufthansa Group's updated winter network reflects strong passenger demand, ongoing investment in premium services, and an ambition to connect Europe with diverse global destinations.
