Four Seasons opens beachfront luxury retreat on Mykonos

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has opened Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos, welcoming guests for its inaugural summer season. Perched above Kalo Livadi Bay, the new beachfront property offers contemporary accommodation, panoramic Aegean Sea views, four dining venues and a range of curated island experiences, all just 20 minutes from Mykonos Town.

A new chapter for Four Seasons in Greece

The opening marks the company's second property in Greece, following Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens. Developed in partnership with AGC Equity Partners, the six-hectare resort has been designed by renowned Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis in the style of a traditional Mykonian village, blending into the island's natural landscape.

“As we welcome a second Four Seasons to Greece, joining our Athens hotel, we introduce a new expression of luxury on one of the Mediterranean's most iconic islands,” said Rainer Stampfer, President, Global Operations, Hotels and Resorts at Four Seasons. “In partnership with AGC Equity Partners, we've created an experience that preserves the surrounding environment through thoughtful design and combines the warmth of Greek hospitality with the personalized service that defines Four Seasons.”

General Manager Ryan Grande added: “Four Seasons Mykonos captures the authentic charm that makes this island so unique. We're offering the best of both worlds, where guests can choose to unwind or explore the energy of the island at their own pace.”

Accommodation inspired by the island

The resort features 94 guest rooms, suites and villas, many with private plunge pools. Whitewashed architecture, minimalist interiors and locally inspired design elements reflect the traditional character of Mykonos while offering contemporary comfort.

Guests can spend the day on the hotel's private beach or relax beside one of two infinity pools before heading into Mykonos Town using the property's shuttle or private transfer services.

Mediterranean dining and wellness

Four restaurants and bars provide a variety of culinary experiences overlooking the sea. Mediterranean grill Álef specialises in premium meats, fresh seafood and Greek wines, while Corbu serves Italian cuisine throughout the day. The Beach offers cocktails in a relaxed beachfront setting, and Kafeneo features Greek coffee, traditional meze, desserts and sunset drinks.

The wellness facilities include a spa with seven treatment rooms, an outdoor spa pavilion, sauna, steam room and vitality pool. Guests also have access to a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor spinning studio, a sea-view yoga pavilion and personal training sessions.

Discovering Mykonos beyond the beach

Four Seasons has also developed a collection of experiences showcasing the island and its surroundings. Guests can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Delos and nearby Rhenia, explore Mykonos by helicopter, join guided walking tours through Mykonos Town and Ano Mera, or enjoy horseback riding to the secluded volcanic beach at Fokos.

The resort also caters for weddings and private events, offering venues for up to 200 guests as well as a secluded hillside chapel overlooking the bay for intimate ceremonies.
