Eurowings expands winter network from Germany and the Czech Republic

Eurowings is expanding its European network for the 2026/27 winter season with new routes from Berlin and Prague while extending two existing summer connections from Dusseldorf into the colder months. Bologna will join the airline’s Berlin network in November, while Tallinn and Milan Linate will remain available from Dusseldorf throughout winter. In December, Eurowings will also add Prague as its fourth departure point for direct flights to Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland.

Berlin gains direct flights to Bologna

Eurowings will launch a new nonstop connection between the German capital and Bologna on 2 November 2026. The airline plans to operate three flights per week between Berlin and Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport.

Services will depart every Monday, Friday and Sunday, adding another Italian destination to Eurowings’ growing network from Berlin. The schedule also offers a combination of weekday and weekend departures for both city breaks and longer stays in Emilia-Romagna.

Dusseldorf keeps Tallinn and Milan Linate for winter

Two routes introduced from Dusseldorf for the summer season will continue into the 2026/27 winter timetable. Eurowings will serve the Estonian capital Tallinn twice a week during the winter months.

The airline is planning a considerably higher frequency to Milan Linate, with up to two flights per day. The centrally located airport complements Eurowings’ existing services between Dusseldorf and Milan Malpensa.

With both Milan airports combined, travellers from North Rhine-Westphalia will have a choice of up to five Eurowings flights per day to the northern Italian metropolis.

Prague becomes fourth gateway to Rovaniemi

Eurowings is also expanding its winter programme to Finnish Lapland. From 20 December, the airline will connect Prague with Rovaniemi every Sunday.

The Czech capital joins Dusseldorf, Berlin and Hamburg as a departure point in the Eurowings Rovaniemi network, giving the airline four gateways to the Finnish destination during the winter season.

Located close to the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi has developed into a major winter tourism destination, particularly for travellers seeking snow experiences and the Northern Lights. The city is also internationally marketed as the official home of Father Christmas.

The new Prague service and the additional winter routes from Germany strengthen Eurowings’ seasonal network across very different European leisure markets, ranging from Italian city destinations to the Baltic region and the Arctic north.
