Swiss International Air Lines will introduce its
latest Airbus A350 on the Zurich–Seoul route from 29 March 2026, marking the
first deployment of the aircraft in Korea. With this move, SWISS also premieres
its new premium cabin concept, ‘SWISS Senses’, in the Korean market, making
Korea the first destination in Asia to experience the airline’s next-generation
long-haul product.
The Airbus A350 represents a new chapter for SWISS
long-haul travel. It is the first aircraft in the fleet to feature a completely
redesigned cabin, launched globally at the end of 2025 under the SWISS Senses
concept. The new approach focuses on comfort, well-being and contemporary Swiss
design, redefining the onboard experience across all travel classes.
A new long-haul experience across four cabin classes
SWISS Senses introduces redesigned cabins in First,
Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class. Each class offers increased space,
enhanced privacy and state-of-the-art technology, complemented by refined
service elements and design details that elevate the overall journey.
In SWISS First, the new Single Suite and Suite Plus
set a new standard for personal space and exclusivity. SWISS Business offers
five different seat types, allowing guests to tailor their experience to
individual preferences, from added privacy and extra space to extended bed
length and fully enclosed Business Suites.
Swiss hospitality reimagined
Beyond seating and layout, SWISS Senses encompasses an
upgraded service concept across all classes. Elegant tableware, refined menus
and carefully curated details are designed to bring Swiss hospitality to life
throughout the flight. A calm cabin atmosphere, combined with a modern lighting
concept, supports rest and relaxation, while the Human Centric Lighting system
is designed to help reduce the effects of jet lag on long-haul journeys.
Strategic milestone for the Asia-Pacific market
“The introduction of SWISS Senses in Korea marks an
important strategic milestone for our Asia Pacific business,” said Felipe
Bonifatti, Vice President Asia Pacific, Middle East and Joint Ventures East.
“As the first market in the region to receive this premium Airbus A350
aircraft, Korea sets a clear benchmark for the expansion of our premium
offering, strengthening customer loyalty, partner confidence and long-term
value.”
Leandro Tonidandel, Country Manager Korea, underlined
the importance of the market for SWISS. “Korea is a high-value market with
strong premium demand across both corporate and leisure travel. Introducing
SWISS Senses on the new A350 strengthens our proposition for customers,
supports the success of our partners, and reflects our long-term investment in
Korea as a core premium market.”
With the deployment of the Airbus A350 and the launch
of SWISS Senses on the Zurich–Seoul route, SWISS reinforces its commitment to
premium travel and positions Korea at the forefront of its long-haul product
evolution in Asia.
