Jin Jiang Radisson Hotels has officially opened the
Radisson Blu Hotel Nanjing South New Town, marking the debut of the brand’s
flagship property in Nanjing and a further step in its expansion across the
Yangtze River Delta.
Located in South New Town, one of Nanjing’s
fastest-growing urban districts, the hotel combines Radisson Blu’s
international hospitality standards with design elements inspired by the city’s
cultural and aviation heritage.
The property forms part of the Sino-Finnish
Cooperation and Exchange Center, a mixed-use development focused on
international exchange, sustainability, and business growth.
300 rooms inspired by Nanjing’s heritage
The hotel offers 300 guestrooms and suites, with
interiors influenced by Dajiaochang’s aviation history and contemporary
interpretations of Nanjing culture. Selected rooms feature views of the
Xiangshui River and the skyline of South New Town.
Its location near major rail transit lines also
provides convenient access to commercial districts and transportation hubs
across the city.
Focus on meetings, events, and business travel
Radisson Blu Hotel Nanjing South New Town places
strong emphasis on the MICE and business travel segment. The hotel features
around 4,300 square metres of meeting and event space, including three large
pillarless ballrooms and nine multifunctional halls equipped with advanced
audiovisual technology.
The facilities are designed to accommodate
international conferences, corporate events, and large-scale banquets.
Dining options include four restaurants and social
venues, ranging from the Aurora All-Day Dining Restaurant with local-inspired
cuisine to the Ling Yun Chinese Restaurant specialising in Huaiyang and fusion
dishes.
Additional facilities include a fitness centre, indoor
swimming pool, and spa.
Hotel reflects Nanjing’s blend of history and
innovation
Mao Xiao, Chief Executive Officer of Jin Jiang
Radisson Hotels, said the hotel was designed to reflect both Nanjing’s
historical identity and its modern ambitions.
“Nanjing is a city where history and innovation live
side-by-side, and we wanted our new home in South New Town to reflect that,” he
said.
“We want to be the heartbeat of this new district,
helping Nanjing welcome the world with the warmth and professionalism it’s
known for.”
Zhou Zhenguo, General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel
Nanjing South New Town, added that the property aims to offer guests a
personalised experience rooted in local culture and contemporary design.
With its opening, the hotel is expected to further
strengthen South New Town’s position as an emerging centre for international
business, events, and hospitality in eastern China.
