Tapestry Collection by Hilton debuts in Vietnam with Hoi An resort

Hilton has introduced its Tapestry Collection brand to Vietnam with the opening of NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An. Located on the Co Co River in Cam Thanh village, the 174-room property combines contemporary resort facilities with architecture and interiors inspired by the cultural heritage of Hoi An.

The resort is positioned as a base for exploring Hoi An Ancient Town, Cua Dai Beach and the Cam Thanh Nipa Forest. Its concept places particular emphasis on slower travel, local craftsmanship, regional cuisine and experiences connected to the surrounding landscape.

First Tapestry Collection property in Vietnam

The opening marks the Vietnamese debut of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a portfolio of independent hotels designed to retain a strong connection to their individual destinations.

“Vietnam continues to be one of South East Asia's most compelling travel markets, with destinations like Hoi An resonating strongly with travellers seeking stays that feel personal, culturally rich and connected to their surroundings,” said Alexandra Murray, Area Vice President and Regional Head of South East Asia at Hilton.

According to Murray, the new resort broadens Hilton’s lifestyle offering in Vietnam while reflecting the pace, heritage and craftsmanship of Hoi An.

Architecture shaped by nature and local materials

NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An was designed by Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia. The architecture combines large panoramic windows with locally sourced stone, timber and organic textures, while views of palm gardens and waterways form an integral part of the design.

The name NHAAN combines the Vietnamese words “nhà”, meaning home, and “an”, meaning peace.

The resort has 174 rooms and suites, ranging from garden- and river-view rooms to deluxe and premium categories with private balconies or direct pool access. The accommodation portfolio also includes the one-bedroom Khang Suite and the NHAAN Presidential Suite.

For families and groups, 19 pairs of connecting rooms are available. Local textiles, lanterns and handmade pottery are used throughout the interiors to reference craft traditions from nearby villages.

Four restaurants and bars

Food and beverage concepts focus on regional influences and social dining. Keng Restaurant serves Vietnamese and international dishes throughout the day, while Plait Restaurant specializes in locally sourced seafood prepared on an open Korean grill beside the river.

Bong Lounge takes inspiration from the woodcraft tradition of Kim Bong Carpentry Village. Hand-carved timber features shape the interior, while the venue changes from a daytime café into a cocktail lounge in the evening.

The Nipa Pool Bar completes the restaurant and bar offering with light dishes and tropical drinks overlooking the Cam Thanh waterways.

Spa, infinity pool and craft workshops

The resort’s eforea spa & health club occupies a rooftop location overlooking the surrounding waterscape. Treatments combine modern wellness concepts with native herbs.

Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness center, outdoor infinity pool, yoga deck and Kids’ Club.

Guests can also take part in pottery, woodcarving and lantern-making workshops, as well as bicycle tours through the surrounding countryside. Private picnics beside rice fields or on the beach and waterfront dinners are among the additional experiences offered.

Space for weddings and corporate events

NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An also targets the events market. The 200-square-meter Hoi An Hall Ballroom can accommodate up to 148 guests.

Two additional 35-square-meter meeting rooms, a pre-function foyer and a landscaped riverside lawn provide further options for meetings, private celebrations and wedding receptions.

“Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a collection of independent boutique hotels, each woven with an original, vibrant story shaped by its locale,” said Alexander Shockley, Lifestyle and Collection Brands, Asia Pacific at Hilton.

He described NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An as an example of the brand’s focus on local design, destination-led dining and experiences that encourage guests to explore their surroundings.

Resort developed by Dat Phuong Group

The property was developed by Vietnamese company Dat Phuong Group.

“Our collaboration with Hilton reflects a shared commitment to delivering world-class hospitality experiences in Vietnam. With NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An, we aim to create a distinctive resort that blends international standards with authentic local character,” said Luong Minh Tuan, Chairman of Dat Phuong Group.

Nightly rates start at VND 2,386,000 on a room-only basis. To mark the opening, the resort is offering a package for stays through December 15, 2026, including 5,000 Hilton Honors points for stays of at least three nights, late check-out until 2 p.m. and a locally inspired welcome amenity.
