The campaign leaded by TÜRAB and TÜROFED has a deadline by May 2010. Travel agents, participating banks will offer huge benefits to the early bookers’. Minister Günay stated that some 50% increase in the sales is estimated for 2010.
A more effective attack
The mottos of the campaign are ‘ Holiday for Everybody’ and ‘ Reserve your room now’. “ Domestic tourism has an important impact on our Country’s development” said Günay. “ We pay attention on Social Tourism and it does matter among our common policies”.
“ We have to pay attention on the difference among all social groups with different levels of income. First step was an option for teachers, whereas the nation is far more tan the teachers. We have to mind the rights of all the social sections. The campaign is based in this fact. We will enable the tourism sector to achieve a clear forecast”
40% discount
As a Social Responsibility Project, the Early Booking Campaign of last year, between 04 May-15 June 2009 will be repeated with the active participation of TURSAB, TUROFED, THY, PEGASUS, TURKİYE İŞ BANK, AKBANK, YAPIKREDİ BANK, GARANTI BANK, DENİZBANK, FINANSBANK,AVEA and VODAFONE.
Travel agencies will attend the campaign with 35-40% discounts whereas the Banks will offer carryover payment options, installments etc. THY, Pegasus and Anadolu Jet will make some 10% discount with the early booking option.
Towel and sunbed promotion
The key materials for the campaign are towels and sunbeds to remind the people about summer holidays. Stands will be decorated with sunbeds and towels in more than 30 cities.
The State takes mission to provoke the attention of the public.
The campaing will be promoted by the Culture and Tourism Ministry Undersecretary for Publicity and will cover the Country overall. Primeministry, Governorates, RTUK and YOK will be partners of the campaign. City centers and Squares will be decorated with sunbeds and towels to remind the public about the Early Booking. Vodafone and Avea messages will inform the public about the campaign. THY, Atlasjet and Pegasus will telecast ads. Desks and kiosks in shopping malls and airports will be informing the travellers and visitors with brochures. Internet is going to be an important source for advertising about the campaign.
