February 2010, 23:07 O joint project health center opened in Belek with the partnership of Cornelia Diamond Golf Center and Spa, Med Vitan and Aspendos Hospital Belek. The center aims to combine the global standarts of sports therapy and training with the high quality accomodation and service in Belek hospitality sector.   The center offers orthopedic treatment, Shock Wave treatment, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Osteopathy, Gymnastic Training, Physico Treatment for sportsmen for all branches all over the world.   The center is expected to become a popular facility for Belek on all types of testings, controlls and physical measures overall.   A Training Academy will be in cooperation with local schools and faculties to organise training programs for trainees.   Prof. Dr. Jiri Dvorak, FIFA Health Committee President attended the opening ceremony and awarded the Sports Center Coordinator Dr İsmail Baloglu with ‘FIFA VETERANS MEDICAL CENTER’ certificate. Baloglu is currently the Chairman of the Bavarian Turkish-German Doctors Alliance.   Klaus Eder, German National Football Team physicotherapist and Helmut Hoffman, Sports Scientist share their experiences and practices with the professionals of the center.
