Türkiye’s Antalya Airport Sets All-Time Daily Passenger Record
According
to Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the
airport welcomed 230,002 passengers in a single day on Saturday, marking a
historic milestone in the nation’s aviation and tourism sector.
“Our
tourism capital, Antalya, continues to break records thanks to our strong
transportation infrastructure,” said Minister Uraloğlu. He shared the
announcement on Sunday via the Turkish social media platform Next Sosyal,
adding: “Our records are only on Next.”
This
achievement underscores Antalya’s position as a leading global destination and
highlights the city’s growing appeal to international travelers, supported by
Türkiye’s expanding transportation capacity and infrastructure investments.
