In
a statement shared on his social media account, Minister Ersoy declared:
“Antalya,
with its sun, sea, history, unique nature, and strong tourism infrastructure,
remains not only the jewel of Türkiye, but of the entire world.”
He
added:
“On
19 July 2025, a total of 102,006 foreign guests arrived through Antalya and
Gazipaşa airports. This figure represents the highest daily number ever
recorded in the month of July. Already on 11 July, we had seen a strong surge
with 100,681 visitors, which peaked on 19 July. We are now approaching the
all-time daily record of 102,755 visitors, set in August last year.”
Ersoy
further noted that between 1 January and 19 July 2025, a total of 7,874,687
international guests arrived in Antalya by air.
In
conclusion, the minister expressed his gratitude to all those contributing to
the country’s tourism success:
“This
achievement is the result of the collective efforts of everyone working toward
making Türkiye the ‘Tourism Country of the Century.’ My sincere thanks go to
all our partners in the industry.”
