Hilton (NYSE:
HLT) has confirmed plans to rapidly increase its presence in Türkiye, with 11
new hotels planned across the country. Building on a legacy of hospitality
which dates back almost 70 years, Hilton's total Turkish development pipeline
of 34 hotels now includes properties under 10 of its award-winning brands, four
of which will be brand firsts in Türkiye. Hilton has more than 100 hotels
trading and under development in Türkiye and is one of the company’s largest
operating markets globally.

Hilton Istanbul Airport
The newly developed Hilton Istanbul Airport follows
a management agreement with TAYA Gayrimenkul Yatırım İşletmeleri Anonim
Şirketi and is due to open in summer 2025. Bolstering Hilton’s airport
hotel portfolio, this will be the brand’s first hotel in iGA Istanbul Airport,
one of the top 10 busiest airports in the world1, opening directly across from
the airport terminal as part of Istanbul’s Airport City Masterplan. Welcoming
the world’s travellers with 491 guest rooms and suites, the hotel will feature
elevated food & beverage options at the onsite restaurant, lobby bar, and
café on the terrace. Additional amenities include an executive lounge, indoor
pool, spa and fitness facilities ensuring guests can relax, unwind and recharge
whether they are waiting to catch a flight or staying for longer. Setting the
backdrop for memorable meetings and events, business travellers will be able to
take advantage of 770 square metres of meeting room space, including a 45
square metre boardroom.
Recent openings under the Hilton Hotels &
Resorts brand include Hilton Rome EUR La Lama, Hilton Skanes Monastir Beach Resort and Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort & Spa.
Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by
Hilton
Following a franchise agreement with Kocak Gold
Kuyumculuk Dis Ticaret A.S., Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by
Hilton, is expected to open in early 2025 in a historic building across from
the beautiful Camondo stairs, a popular tourist attraction and architectural
highlight. Located in Galata quarter, now known as Karakoy, the surrounding
area is steeped in history and filled with boutique shops, restaurants, and art
galleries. With 93 beautifully appointed guest rooms featuring distinctive architecture
and design, an all-day dining restaurant and lobby bar with world class-food
and beverage, and a fitness centre, guests will be immersed in one-of-a-kind
moments to complement their exploration of the sought-after neighbourhood. The
hotel will also boast a destination-worthy rooftop bar with sweeping views over
the old town of Istanbul.
Curio Collection by Hilton is a global portfolio of
more than 145 unique hotels and resorts selected for their distinctive
character. Curio Collection properties allow guests to enjoy independent hotels
that offer authentic, immersive experiences while providing the benefits of
Hilton and its award-winning Hilton Honors guest loyalty programme. Recent
European additions to Curio Collection by Hilton include openings in Madrid,
Crete and Reyjkavik.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Suites Istanbul
Altunizade
Due to open in summer 2024, DoubleTree by Hilton
Hotel and Suites Istanbul Altunizade follows a management agreement with CCN
Holding. The newly developed property will be located less than one kilometre
from the First Bridge, connecting the two sides of the city, and therefore will
be an ideal location for guests hoping to explore the European and Asian sides
of Istanbul. The hotel will boast 240 guest rooms, made up exclusively of
studios and one-bedroom suites, as well as an all-day dining restaurant and
lobby bar featuring diverse culinary experiences for guests. Thoughtful
amenities include an indoor pool, spa and fitness facilities and a 95 square
meter aerobic studio. More than 430 square meters of meetings and events space,
including an expansive 150 square meter multi-function room, will mean that
business travellers and those looking to host events will find their perfect
space in the hotel, from large conventions to intimate social events.
DoubleTree by Hilton is a fast-growing, upscale
hotel brand popular among business and leisure travellers that has continued to
be a symbol of comfort around the world, from welcoming guests with its
signature, warm DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie, to serving the local
community. Recent openings under the brand include DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku'Damm and DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schonbrunn. This announcement
joins recently signed properties DoubleTree by Hilton Trabzon Yomra Suites, a
99-guest room hotel due to open in summer 2024 and DoubleTree by Hilton Bursa
Nilufer, a 145-guest room hotel anticipated to open in 2026.
Ritus Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet, Tapestry
Collection by Hilton
Tapestry Collection by Hilton will make its debut
in Türkiye with a hotel opening in spring 2025. Ritus Hotel Istanbul
Sultanahmet, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will feature 51 guest rooms, an
all-day dining restaurant and lobby bar with elevated culinary offerings, and a
fitness centre. The hotel’s unique story and vibrant personality will come to
life by converting two smaller adjacent hotels across from Sultanahmet Square
into one larger hotel, preserving the charming façade and ornate window designs
of the current building while renovating to contrast dark wood floors with
calming, bright interiors.
The Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolio is
continuing to expand worldwide and now includes more than 115 hotels. Known for
their vibrant and unique styles, each Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel
encourages guests to immerse themselves in the local area, creating authentic
connections with destinations while offering an upscale and comfortable hotel
experience. Recent openings under the brand include Ambasciatori Hotel Venice Mestre, Tapestry Collection by Hilton,
Marty Hotel Bordeaux, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Via Sants Hotel Barcelona, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
Further growth for Hampton by Hilton in
Türkiye
Hampton by Hilton’s rapidly expanding portfolio in
Türkiye is set to welcome five new additions: Hampton by Hilton Antalya
Airport, Hampton by Hilton Ankara Airport, Hampton by Hilton Adana Bati,
Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Sisli and Hampton by Hilton Merter. All properties
are expected to be open before the end of 2026, with Hampton by Hilton Antalya
Airport and Hampton by Hilton Merter currently scheduled to open their
doors in 2024 and Hampton Istanbul Sisli due to open early 2025. Each hotel will
feature thoughtfully designed accommodations and amenities with the brand’s
signature service, including fitness facilities, free hot breakfast and a
vibrant, dynamic open-concept lobby. Recent openings under the brand
include Hampton by Hilton Budapest City Centre and Hampton by Hilton London City.
Guests of all Hilton properties will be able to
benefit from the award-winning Hilton Honors guest loyalty program, allowing
more than 173 million members who book directly with Hilton to earn Points for
hotel stays and experiences. Hilton Honors members can also unlock access to
