Naumi Hotels, the Singapore-based boutique hospitality
group, has entered the Middle East market with the opening of its first
property in Dubai. The 237-room hotel in Barsha Heights was recently acquired
by Naumi Group, advised by SunStar Capital, and is now operated under the Naumi
Hotels brand.
A natural next step for Naumi’s growth
Founded in 2007, Naumi Hotels has established a
portfolio of eight properties across Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia. The
Dubai launch marks its first move into the Middle East. “Following Naumi
Hotels’ success in the Asia-Pacific region, extending the experience to the
Middle East felt like a natural next step,” said Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, Group
CEO of Naumi Hotels. “Dubai represents the epicentre of the region’s thriving
hospitality market – a city of innovation that mirrors our ambition, creative
energy, and vision for hospitality.”
Location and facilities
Naumi Hotel Dubai is located near Dubai Internet City
Metro, 10 minutes from Mall of the Emirates and 15 minutes from The Palm. The
hotel offers 237 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a spa, a rooftop pool,
fitness centre, and meeting spaces. A transformation of the property is
underway, introducing Naumi’s signature bold interiors, curated art, and
imaginative “micro-experiences.”
Redefining boutique hospitality
Known for its playful sophistication and unscripted
service, Naumi Hotels emphasizes design-driven spaces and bespoke hospitality.
“With every new property, we aim to push the boundaries of boutique
hospitality,” noted Paul Stocker, Group Chief Operating Officer. “In Dubai,
we’ve found the ideal canvas to bring unexpected moments to life, while
capturing the spirit of the city.”
Expansion outlook
The debut in Dubai signals the beginning of Naumi’s
broader Middle East strategy. Building on its reputation for artful,
experiential stays, the group plans further expansion across the region.
