RIU Hotels & Resorts has relaunched the digital
platform for RIU Partner Club, its loyalty programme for retail travel agents.
The redesigned portal introduces a more intuitive and independent digital
environment aimed at making everyday sales and booking management easier for
agents.
The programme has been operating since 1992 and now
has more than 100,000 active members across 139 countries. Alongside its
incentive scheme, RIU Partner Club provides product information and training
designed to support agents in selling the hotel group’s portfolio.
Faster access to booking and hotel information
The redesigned platform brings several functions
together in a streamlined interface. Travel agents can access updated fact
sheets for individual RIU properties, check the status of bookings and managed
sales in real time and navigate more quickly between the tools needed for
customer consultations.
According to RIU, the changes incorporate digital
design and functionality improvements developed by the hotel group in recent
years while creating an environment specifically tailored to the requirements
of the retail trade.
The objective is to reduce the time agents spend
searching for information and make it easier to match individual hotels with
customer requirements.
Loyalty benefits remain unchanged
The relaunch does not alter the basic structure of RIU
Partner Club. Agents continue to collect points through eligible sales, with
points remaining valid as long as their account stays active.
Accumulated points can be redeemed for complimentary
stays within the RIU Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Members also retain access
to training materials, product information, promotions and benefits reserved
for registered travel professionals.
Global network spans 139 countries
With more than three decades in operation, RIU Partner
Club has developed into an international distribution tool as well as a loyalty
programme. Its community of more than 100,000 active members now extends across
139 countries.
By modernising the platform, RIU is strengthening the
digital connection with the retail channel at a time when immediate access to
accurate product and booking information has become an increasingly important
part of travel agency sales.
