four new properties confirmed and several existing hotels already garnering
international recognition, the Group is significantly expanding its presence to

First
Radisson RED to Debut in Bucharest
A
standout among the new developments is the Radisson RED Bucharest Old Town, set
to open in 2027. The property will mark the debut of the Radisson RED brand in
Romania. Housed in a fully renovated 1940s building that once belonged to the
Institute of Hydroelectric Studies, the hotel will offer 104 guest rooms in the
heart of the historic district. The property will feature a restaurant, bar,
co-working lounge, outdoor terrace, and flexible event spaces, including a 100
m² multipurpose room and a rooftop pop-up venue.
Radisson
Blu Expands in Mountain and Coastal Destinations
In
early 2027, the Radisson Blu Grand Mountain Resort, Brasov will open in the
scenic Carpathian Mountains. The resort will cater to adventure and nature
enthusiasts with luxury accommodations, a wellness center, and a variety of
outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and mountain biking.
On
the Black Sea coast, the Radisson Blu Resort & Residences, Mamaia is
scheduled for a 2028 opening. This luxury destination will feature 234 rooms
and 102 branded residences, offering sea-view suites, a spa and fitness center,
multiple dining venues, and expansive event spaces. Highlights include
Presidential Suites, duplex apartments, a grand ballroom, and an outdoor pool
bar.
Urban
Oasis Planned for Capital City
Also
underway is the Radisson Lagoon Hotel Bucharest, located in the Central
District’s Lagoon City. The upscale urban resort will include 323 rooms, a spa,
a private 1,100 m² sandy beach, and access to a 10,000 m² lagoon. The property
will blend city convenience with resort-style luxury, featuring lagoon-view
rooms, fine dining, wellness facilities, and multiple pools.

In
Transylvania, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cluj is recognized for its design and
prime location, while the Radisson Blu Aurum Hotel, Brasov has earned praise
for its culinary offerings and sustainable practices.
These
new projects, together with the established presence, position Radisson Hotel
Group as a key player in Romania’s hospitality landscape.
