Qatar Airways returns to Web Summit Qatar 2026 as the
Official Lifestyle and Travel Partner for the third consecutive year, unveiling
a portfolio of user-led innovations designed to personalise the passenger
journey and advance industry standards. At the Qatar Airways Pavilion, the
airline highlights how emerging technologies are reshaping travel from
inspiration and planning through to engagement and rewards.
At the centre of the presentation is the airline’s
‘Innovation Capsule’, where visitors can explore new digital tools and loyalty
concepts that reflect Qatar Airways’ focus on intuitive design and
customer-centric development.
Intuitive search with ‘Q Search’
One of the key highlights is ‘Q Search’, a
first-of-its-kind solution in the airline sector. Designed to deliver instant
answers across Qatar Airways’ products and services, Q Search allows users to
interact in natural language and receive conversational, intuitive responses.
The tool forms part of the airline’s broader digital ecosystem, aimed at
simplifying access to information while enhancing the overall user experience.
Personalised inspiration through ‘Infinite Awards’
Qatar Airways Privilege Club is also introducing
‘Infinite Awards’, an AI-powered inspiration engine that helps members set
travel goals, understand how to earn Avios and plan future journeys through a
simple prompt. The tool generates personalised destination ideas and
recommendations, while guiding members toward everyday opportunities to collect
Avios based on their individual lifestyle.
Loyalty with social impact
Privilege Club members can also choose to donate their
Avios to the Education Above All Foundation via the Qatar Airways website and
app. The global education organisation promotes equal access to quality
education and supports sustainable, inclusive development worldwide, allowing
members to turn loyalty rewards into tangible social impact.
Expanding rewards beyond travel
In collaboration with Qatar Central Bank, Qatar
Airways is extending its loyalty ecosystem through Himyan, Qatar’s first
national pre-paid card. Himyan cardholders can collect one Avios for every QAR
8 spent on online or point-of-sale transactions, with additional Avios
available through card-linked offers at participating Privilege Club partner
outlets across retail, dining, entertainment and lifestyle sectors.
A new partnership with Mowasalat, ‘Karwa’, Qatar’s
leading transport provider, further integrates loyalty into everyday mobility.
Privilege Club members will soon be able to earn and spend Avios on taxi and
chauffeured journeys by linking their Karwa and Privilege Club accounts via the
Karwa Taxi app.
Enhanced partner ecosystems and digital engagement
Following an expanded partnership with
telecommunications provider Ooredoo, Privilege Club members will benefit from
improved conversion ratios between Nojoom Points and Avios, strengthening the
value of cross-platform rewards.
Qatar Airways is also presenting its first digital
destination, ‘QVerse Island’, launched within the Fortnite environment. The
immersive experience reimagines Doha and Hamad International Airport, offering
visitors an interactive way to explore the destination and engage with the
airline’s brand. At Web Summit Qatar, QVerse Island can be experienced through
dedicated interactive stations at the pavilion.
Insights through ‘Tarmac Talks’
Complementing the exhibition, Qatar Airways is hosting
its ‘Tarmac Talks’ series, where airline experts share insights into the
technologies on display. Topics range from loyalty analytics and airline
transformation to cargo digitisation, providing a deeper look into the
innovation driving the airline’s future.
Qatar Airways invites visitors and technology
enthusiasts to explore Pavilion 1212-03 at Web Summit Qatar 2026 from 1 to 4
February, offering a glimpse into how user-led innovation is shaping the next
generation of air travel.
