Qatar Airways operates limited flights amid airspace closure

Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight schedule after the temporary closure of Qatari airspace disrupted regular operations. The airline said scheduled flights remain suspended and will only fully resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the complete reopening of the country’s airspace.

Following temporary authorisation for restricted flight corridors, the airline plans to operate a number of selected services over the coming days. The flights are intended to help affected passengers continue their journeys and reunite with family members as quickly and safely as possible.

Selected departures from Doha

On 9 March, flights from Doha are scheduled to destinations including Seoul, Moscow, London Heathrow, Delhi, Madrid, Islamabad, Beijing Daxing, Perth, Nairobi and Istanbul.

A broader schedule is planned for 10 March with services to Cairo, London Heathrow, Jeddah, Manila, Kochi, Muscat, Istanbul, Mumbai, Delhi, Nairobi, Islamabad, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo and Milan.

Arrivals into Doha also limited

Inbound flights are also scheduled in a restricted format. On 10 March, arrivals from Seoul, Moscow, London Heathrow, Delhi, Madrid, Islamabad, Beijing, Perth, Nairobi and Istanbul are planned.

On 11 March, arrivals are expected from Cairo, London Heathrow, Jeddah, Manila, Kochi, Muscat, Istanbul, Mumbai, Delhi, Nairobi, Islamabad, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo and Milan.

Qatar Airways emphasized that these flights do not represent the full resumption of normal commercial operations but are temporary measures to assist affected travelers.

Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport unless they hold a confirmed ticket. The airline said the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain the highest priority and apologized for the disruption caused by circumstances beyond its control.
