The debut also marks Westin’s entry into one of
India’s most sought-after leisure destinations and underlines Marriott’s
long-term commitment to the Indian hospitality market.
Set on nine acres at the foothills of the Aravalli
range, the resort brings Westin’s wellness-led philosophy to Rajasthan,
combining restorative design with local craftsmanship. The opening reflects
Marriott’s broader expansion strategy in India, where the company now operates
200 hotels across 18 brands and has a development pipeline of nearly 150
additional properties. India remains one of Marriott’s top three global growth
markets, driven by strong domestic demand and ongoing investment in tourism infrastructure.
“Celebrating our 200th property in India is a defining
moment for Marriott International,” said Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President,
South Asia. He highlighted the role of distinctive design, elevated dining
concepts and service excellence in shaping the group’s growth, as well as
continued confidence in the resilience of India’s hospitality sector.
The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa
features 135 rooms, suites and private villas, many with gardens and plunge
pools. The resort is centred on Westin’s pillars of well-being – Sleep Well,
Eat Well and Move Well – with wellness-focused accommodation, a full-service
Heavenly Spa by Westin™, a 24-hour fitness studio and extensive outdoor
activity options. Dining spans four venues, ranging from farm-to-fork cuisine
to contemporary interpretations of Rajasthani flavours.
With flexible event spaces, landscaped lawns for
weddings and a dedicated kids’ club, the resort is designed for leisure
travellers, families and social gatherings alike. Curated cultural experiences
and proximity to landmarks such as Amer and Nahargarh Forts further connect
guests with the heritage of the region.
