A new era of premium travel has landed in Japan.
Lufthansa’s Allegris — the airline’s next-generation long-haul travel
experience — touched down at Tokyo Haneda Airport for the first time today,
marking the official launch of scheduled service between Munich and Tokyo
aboard the Airbus A350-900. The first return flight, LH715, departed Haneda at
10:45 local time, featuring the full range of Lufthansa Allegris cabins,
including the airline’s new First Class Suite.
A new benchmark for comfort and individuality
“We are delighted to bring our premium product
Lufthansa Allegris to Japan,” said Heiko Reitz, Chief Customer Officer of
Lufthansa Airlines. “With this new cabin product, we are focusing on the
individual needs and wishes of our guests. Personalisation and privacy –
qualities that are also highly valued by Japanese travellers – are of central
importance to us. Never before in the 99-year history of the Lufthansa Group
have we invested so heavily in premium products as we are doing today. After
all, this is the key to an excellent customer experience.”
Lufthansa Allegris represents the airline’s most
significant premium investment to date, redefining comfort, privacy, and
personal space across all travel classes.
The Allegris First Class: Exclusive comfort in the sky
On the A350-900, the Allegris First Class Cabin
features two individual suites and the Suite Plus, designed for those seeking
both luxury and flexibility. Each suite offers:
·
Nearly one-meter-wide heated or cooled seats, adjustable to personal
preference
·
Ceiling-high walls and lockable doors for complete privacy
·
A large dining table, wide screen, and wireless over-ear headphones
·
A personal wardrobe for in-flight comfort and convenience
·
Customizable lighting to create a personalized atmosphere
The Suite Plus offers a unique option for couples or
travel partners to share an exclusive suite while enjoying the full range of
amenities and space.
Enhancing the Japan–Europe experience
Operating 22 weekly flights between Europe and Japan,
Lufthansa Group is elevating the passenger experience for Japanese travellers
through Munich, the airline’s 5-star hub, and onward to destinations worldwide.
The introduction of Lufthansa Allegris represents a significant step in
strengthening the airline’s premium positioning in one of Asia’s most important
markets.
