The total number of scheduled international flight
seats to Spain for November 2025 is projected at 9 million, according to the
latest data published by Turespaña. This represents a 5.3% increase compared
with the same month last year, when 8.6 million seats were available.
Key European markets show continued momentum
Among Spain’s main source markets, Italy posted the
strongest growth, up 5.9%, followed by the United Kingdom (+4.9%) and France
(+4.3%). In contrast, Germany recorded a 2.3% decline in seat capacity compared
to November 2024.
Nordic markets soften, Eastern Europe accelerates
The Nordic countries continue to show weaker
performance, with projected declines in seat availability: Denmark (-3.1%), Sweden
(-5.6%), Norway (-2.4%), and Finland (-16.1%).
Conversely, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ireland
all show strong momentum, each with double-digit growth projections for the
month.
Transatlantic and Latin American markets
Seat capacity from the United States is expected to
rise by 9.4%, reflecting the ongoing expansion of transatlantic connectivity.
Among Latin American countries, Colombia and Mexico
maintain the highest scheduled capacity volumes. Colombia reports a 9.4%
increase, while Mexico records a slight decrease of 0.9% for the penultimate
month of the year.
Overall, the Turespaña report underscores the continued
recovery and diversification of Spain’s inbound air connectivity, supported by
expanding links from both established European markets and fast-growing
long-haul destinations.
