Hilton is accelerating its luxury and lifestyle
expansion in Asia Pacific. Following recent openings in Hong Kong, Qingdao, and
Osaka, the company now operates over 160 properties in these categories across
the region. Responding to strong demand for distinctive, experience-led stays,
Hilton expects to increase its Asia Pacific luxury and lifestyle portfolio by
at least 50 percent in the coming years.
Recent openings and brand debuts
In August, Hilton celebrated the opening of Motto by
Hilton Hong Kong Soho, marking the lifestyle brand’s debut in the region. The
hotel features compact, flexible rooms, dynamic public spaces, and food and
beverage options designed to appeal to both travelers and locals. Earlier this
year, Hilton also opened Waldorf Astoria Osaka and Secan Hotel Qingdao, Curio
Collection by Hilton.

The next 12 months will see a series of landmark

Further ahead, the group will debut Waldorf Astoria
Bali in 2027 – the first of the brand’s properties in Indonesia – and will
introduce NoMad Singapore and Canopy by Hilton Makati in 2026.
Regional and global growth pipeline
Hilton plans to double its presence of Waldorf
Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts in Asia Pacific, while
introducing NoMad and Signia by Hilton to the region. New properties are also
planned in Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Sydney, Xi’an, Tokyo, Delhi, and Bali for
Waldorf Astoria; and in Jaipur, Kuala Lumpur, Nagoya, and Bangkok for Conrad.

luxury brands while expanding lifestyle concepts that are increasingly
attractive to owners and guests alike.”
Global perspective
Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio reached the
milestone of 1,000 hotels worldwide this year, with nearly 500 more in the
pipeline. Recent strategic moves include acquiring a majority stake in Sydell
Group to expand the NoMad brand globally, and forging an exclusive partnership
with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), giving Hilton guests access to
hundreds of independently minded properties.
Building on these developments, Hilton has added more
than 100 future hotels to its pipeline this year alone. Globally, the company
plans to add around three new luxury and lifestyle hotels per week in 2025,
strengthening its position as one of the leading players in the sector.
