Delta Air Lines will resume flights to Tel Aviv (TLV)
from both Atlanta (ATL) and Boston (BOS), restoring key nonstop links between
the United States and Israel. The move expands Delta’s trans-Atlantic network
and meets strong demand for travel between the two countries.
Flights from Atlanta will begin April 15, 2026,
operating three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays aboard the Airbus
A350-900. Service from Boston will launch Oct. 24, 2026, with daily flights on
the Airbus A330-900neo. Both aircraft offer Delta One Suites, Delta Premium
Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin products.
Growing demand on the U.S.–Israel route
The expansion follows Delta’s resumption of daily New
York–JFK to Tel Aviv service on Sept. 1, 2025, and the announcement of a second
daily frequency between JFK and Tel Aviv from Nov. 30, 2025, through Jan. 19,
2026, to meet strong winter travel demand.
Connections and collaboration
“I want to thank Delta for resuming nonstop service
between Atlanta and Tel Aviv, providing a direct connection between the State
of Georgia and one of our strongest allies,” said Georgia Governor Brian Kemp.
“This flight is important to so many in our state, further strengthening the
cultural and economic ties between Georgia and Israel.”
Massport Executive Director of Aviation Ed Freni
added: “Massport welcomes Delta’s resumed service between Boston and Tel Aviv.
This addition provides travelers with another convenient option from Boston
Logan.”
With the addition of these routes, Delta will operate nonstop
service to Tel Aviv from three major U.S. hubs—New York, Atlanta, and
Boston—offering customers greater flexibility and connectivity across the
Atlantic.
