Lufthansa and premium mobility provider SIXT have
announced a new partnership for the airline’s exclusive First Class Limousine
Service, enhancing the premium ground experience for First Class guests and HON
Circle Members.
For two decades, Lufthansa has offered this bespoke
service at its Frankfurt and Munich hubs, ensuring passengers enjoy a smooth,
comfortable transfer directly between the terminal and the aircraft — and back
upon arrival.
Under the new partnership, a total of 40 premium SIXT
vehicles of various models will be deployed across both airports. Each car
carries the Lufthansa and SIXT logos alongside the designation “Lufthansa
Shuttle Service”, underlining the cooperation between the two leading German
brands.
Strong partnership for a premium experience
Heiko Reitz, Member of the Executive Board of
Lufthansa Airlines and Hub Manager Munich, said:
“We are delighted to have gained a strong partner for
our First Class Limousine Service in SIXT. This cooperation enables us to offer
our First Class guests and HON Circle Members an even wider selection of
premium vehicles. It also allows us to better meet our guests’ growing
expectations for flexibility and personalised solutions as part of our premium
ground services.”
Vinzenz Pflanz, Member of the Management Board and
Chief Business Officer of SIXT SE, added:
“SIXT and Lufthansa have enjoyed a trusting
partnership for many years, built on a shared understanding of quality,
service, and premium experience. Our collaboration for the limousine service is
another expression of that trust and of our commitment to providing customers
with maximum comfort and a seamless travel experience.”
The enhanced Lufthansa First Class Limousine Service,
now powered by SIXT, reflects both companies’ dedication to premium service,
innovation, and exclusive travel comfort — offering Lufthansa’s most discerning
guests an experience that begins long before takeoff.
