From
2 June to 3 August 2027, the itineraries will take guests from Southeast Asia
to the Indian Ocean islands, along the coasts of Africa, and into the western
Mediterranean. These voyages replace the originally published Red Sea routes,
adjusted due to the current geopolitical situation. Guests who had already
booked have been informed and offered attractive alternatives. Starting with
the cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Palma de Mallorca on 3 August 2027, the
EUROPA 2 will return to its original schedule.
Exotic
voyages from Asia to Europe
Departing
from the southern hemisphere in early summer 2027, the EUROPA 2 will take up to
500 guests from Hong Kong via Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore, with extended
layovers to explore both cities by day and night. The journey continues across
the Indian Ocean to Reunion with its volcanic landscapes and Creole flair, and
onward to Mozambique’s lively capital Maputo, before reaching Durban and Cape
Town.
From
South Africa, the ship will sail along the Namibian coast, then cross to St
Helena and the Cape Verde Islands before reaching Tenerife. The voyage
concludes in the western Mediterranean with stops in Andalusia, the Balearic
Islands, Sardinia, and Corsica.
Award-winning
luxury at sea
Since
entering service, the EUROPA 2 has been consistently rated “best ship in the
world” by Insight Guides Cruising & Cruise Ships (formerly the Berlitz
Cruise Guide). The ship combines first-class cuisine, a wide range of sports
and entertainment, an expansive spa, and outstanding service. Two of the new
cruises will also feature the IN2BALANCE program, offering innovative training
methods and relaxation techniques for physical and mental wellbeing. Guests can
also enjoy newly designed lounge areas on Deck 11.
