A
recent study by consumer portal Flightright places Eurowings once again among
the best airlines in Europe. In the 2025 Flightright Index, Discover Airlines,
Eurowings, and Iberia claim the top three spots. The annual index evaluates the
20 largest European carriers for reliability, punctuality, payment behaviour,
and customer satisfaction.
Water
Balls on Board: Summer Fun at 30,000 Feet
To
kick off the summer season, Eurowings cabin crews have been handing out
Eurowings Holidays water balls to the youngest passengers since early July.
Nearly 100,000 balls will be distributed on selected flights to sunny
destinations, adding a touch of holiday spirit even before landing. Flight
attendants are thrilled to see the joy on children’s faces.
Priority
Boarding from Seven Euros
Eurowings
introduced its new boarding concept in April with the additional “Priority
Boarding” option. Travellers can now board early as part of Group 1 and settle
in before the main boarding process starts. Priority Boarding can be booked
during initial booking or later via the website and app, starting from seven
euros. The service is limited to selected flights and requires a booking that
includes a large piece of hand luggage. BIZclass passengers, HON Circle
Members, and Senators already enjoy this benefit.
Eurowings
Holidays Now in All Major Reservation Systems
Since
1 April 2025, Eurowings Holidays has operated as a new tour operator within the
Lufthansa Group. Its diverse range of travel options – from city breaks and
beach holidays to all-inclusive packages – is now available to travel agents
via all major reservation systems (Toma/Bistro, NEO/Xena, Merlin/Sabre
Vacations, MyJack) under the code EWHO. Agencies benefit from flexible
packages, no minimum turnover requirements, and a 10% commission. Booking
activation documents are available online on the Eurowings Holidays website
(German only).
