Tourexpi
Out
of 77,000 flights operated, approximately 80 percent arrived on time, with a
remarkable regularity rate of 99 percent. More than 10 million passengers chose
Eurowings between January and June. The airline recorded a Net Promoter Score
(NPS) of 47 – a leading figure within the aviation industry.
In
response to strong demand for leisure travel, Eurowings significantly expanded
its route network and now offers 150 direct destinations in 36 countries.
"We reacted to the surge in holiday demand with an expanded flight
schedule, flying our guests across Europe with a strong focus on reliability
and punctuality," said Eurowings CEO Jens Bischof. "This performance
reflects our clear commitment to quality and customer orientation, made
possible by a dedicated team and our transformation into a value airline for
Europe."
The
airline’s consistent service strategy was also recognized by Skytrax, which
awarded Eurowings the title of Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe 2025. The
accolade acknowledges the airline’s strong service campaign and its compelling
price-performance ratio.
Despite
its operational success, the point-to-point segment of the Lufthansa Group –
which includes Eurowings and its stake in SunExpress – recorded an adjusted
EBIT loss of 137 million euros as of 30 June 2025. This result precedes the
typically stronger summer quarter and reflects continued increases in taxes and
charges at Germany’s major aviation hubs. The number of Eurowings employees
rose to just under 5,500.
