Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, Vice President – Operations
(Central & Southern Thailand) and Government & Business Relations at
Dusit International, has received the Thailand Meetings Leadership Award at the
inaugural Thailand MICE Legacy Awards 2026.
The award was presented during MICE Day 2026 at the
Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok on 29 April and recognises
individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of
Thailand’s meetings and events sector.
Ms Tantiprasertsuk currently also serves as President
of the Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) for the 2025–2026
term.
More than three decades supporting Thailand’s MICE
sector
The recognition acknowledges Ms Tantiprasertsuk’s
contribution to Thailand’s MICE industry over more than 30 years. During this
time, she has played an active role in strengthening industry collaboration,
supporting Thailand’s international profile, and contributing to the long-term
development of TICA.
Having been involved with the association since its
early years, she has supported its evolution into one of Thailand’s leading
professional organisations within the business events sector.
Drawing on extensive experience in the international
hospitality industry, Ms Tantiprasertsuk has also contributed to the continued
growth of Thailand’s meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions market
at both national and international level.
Recognition reflects wider industry collaboration
Beyond individual achievement, the award also
highlights the growing importance of leadership that extends beyond
organisational boundaries. Collaboration between hospitality, tourism,
government, and business events sectors continues to play a central role in
strengthening Thailand’s position as a global MICE destination.
“This recognition is deeply meaningful because it
reflects the collective efforts of so many people who have helped shape
Thailand’s MICE sector over many years,” said Ms Tantiprasertsuk.
“I’ve been fortunate to work alongside dedicated
colleagues and partners across hospitality, tourism, government, and business
events, all of whom share the same goal of strengthening Thailand’s position on
the global stage. This commitment is also closely aligned with Dusit’s
long-standing vision and values.”
Chanin Donavanik, Group CEO and Acting Chairman of the
Board of Directors of Dusit International, also emphasised the importance of
long-term industry engagement.
“Thailand’s tourism and MICE sectors have always
progressed through strong collaboration between passionate individuals across
both the public and private sectors,” he said.
“Leaders who contribute beyond their own organisations
play an important role in strengthening the industry for the future, and we
believe supporting that kind of contribution remains essential to the long-term
development of Thailand’s hospitality ecosystem.”
New awards recognise long-term industry impact
The Thailand MICE Legacy Awards were established by
the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) to honour leaders and
pioneers whose work has helped shape Thailand’s MICE industry over several
decades.
The awards recognise contributions across meetings,
exhibitions, conventions, and the broader development of Thailand’s business
events sector.
