Ryanair, Europe’s and Poland’s leading airline, will
base a sixth aircraft in Gdańsk for Summer 2026, marking a US$600 million
investment in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The additional aircraft will provide
more than 300,000 extra seats—an increase of 16 percent—and introduce five new
routes to Rome, Dubrovnik, Tirana, Palermo and Bucharest. Seventeen existing
routes will see additional frequencies, including Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga
and Malta. In total, Ryanair’s record schedule for Gdańsk will offer 2.3
million seats across 43 destinations.
Expanded network and major capacity boost
The Summer 2026 schedule includes 43 routes, five of
them brand new, and six based aircraft—one more than in Summer 2025. The
airline will add 300,000 seats next season, driving total annual traffic at
Gdańsk Airport to more than 3.3 million seats. To mark the announcement,
Ryanair has launched a limited-time fare sale with prices starting from PLN 120
on ryanair.com.

“We are delighted to celebrate the news that Ryanair
will base a sixth aircraft in Gdańsk for Summer 2026 alongside the announcement
of five new routes to Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Palermo, Rome and Tirana,” said
Jason McGuinness, Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Next summer, our US$600m
investment will deliver more than 2.3m low-fare seats to a record 43 European
destinations. Gdańsk will benefit from over 300,000 additional seats, driving
inbound tourism and supporting year-round connectivity at Europe’s lowest
fares.”
To celebrate the airline’s biggest Gdańsk schedule to
date, Ryanair is offering a two-day seat sale with fares from PLN 120.
Gdańsk Airport welcomes expansion
Tomasz Kloskowski, CEO of Gdańsk Airport, highlighted
