Through
this partnership, customers booking via Booking Holdings’ brands will now have
access to Ryanair flights across the airline’s network of more than 235
destinations – with full price transparency on all Ryanair products. The
agreement also ensures that customers booking Ryanair flights through
Booking.com, KAYAK, Priceline and Agoda can access their myRyanair account
without going through Ryanair’s customer verification process, meaning they
will receive all important flight updates directly.
This
development marks positive news for travelers across Europe, as Booking
Holdings joins Ryanair’s growing list of “Approved OTA” partners, which already
includes loveholidays, lastminute, Travelfusion, Paxport, Kiwi, On the Beach,
TUI, El Corte Inglés and Expedia. It further demonstrates how OTAs and Ryanair
can work together to protect customers while offering more choice at lower
fares.
Ryanair
CMO Dara Brady said:
“This
new partnership with Booking Holdings is great news for all customers booking
or comparing prices on Booking.com, KAYAK, Priceline and Agoda. They can now
rely on full price transparency and will receive all important Ryanair travel
updates directly on their mobile. This agreement shows how ‘Approved OTAs’ and
Ryanair can work hand in hand to protect consumers and deliver more choice at
better value.”
Todd
Henrich, SVP Corporate Development at Booking Holdings, added:
“We
are delighted to partner with Ryanair to provide travelers with even more
choice and value when booking their trips across our platforms. By combining
access to Ryanair’s low fares and network of over 235 destinations with the
innovative technology, user-friendliness and flexibility of our brands, this
partnership reinforces our commitment to delivering a trusted, seamless booking
experience for customers worldwide.”
