Lufthansa Marks 60 Years of Flights to Singapore

Lufthansa is celebrating six decades of connecting Singapore with Germany.

Since its inaugural flight to the Lion City in 1965, the airline has played a vital role in Singapore’s aviation landscape, linking the city-state to Europe and the world with hallmark German efficiency and service. The anniversary coincides with Singapore’s own 60th year of independence, making 2025 a particularly meaningful milestone.

Over the years, Lufthansa has not only ensured seamless travel but also contributed to Singapore’s rise as a global hub. With an investment that goes back six decades, we now operate 20 weekly flights, connecting Singapore daily with our hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich.”
