Emirates
is set to expand its Premium Economy offering as it deploys additional
next-generation Airbus A350s and retrofitted Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s
across its network. From this winter, customers traveling to and from Amman,
Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain will enjoy access to Emirates’ latest onboard
products, including Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class cabins.
These
upgrades enhance connectivity for passengers traveling through Dubai to
destinations also served by Emirates’ Airbus A350s and refurbished Boeing 777s
and A380s, ensuring a consistent, world-class experience across the airline’s
global network.
Updated
deployment schedule includes:
·
Amman – From 26 October 2025*,
EK903/904 will operate with a four-class Airbus A380 featuring refreshed
interiors, including Premium Economy. Both daily services will soon be upgraded
with retrofitted aircraft.
·
Mumbai – Starting 26 October 2025*,
EK504/505 will be served by a retrofitted Boeing 777. Customers will experience
Emirates’ latest cabins on 22 weekly flights.
·
Muscat – Beginning 30 October 2025*,
all 9 weekly flights will be operated with the Airbus A350, offering Emirates’
signature cabin experience on EK862/863 services every Thursday and Saturday.
·
Bahrain – From 4 December 2025*,
EK833/834 will feature a retrofitted Boeing 777 every Thursday, making Bahrain
exclusively served by aircraft fitted with Premium Economy and refreshed
Business Class.
With
these additions, Emirates will offer Premium Economy on more than 635 weekly
flights across its network by winter. By the end of 2025, the airline expects
to offer over 2 million Premium Economy seats annually, up from 1.8 million
today. Currently, 68 cities are served with aircraft equipped with Premium
Economy, with 36 destinations exclusively operated by this highly acclaimed
cabin.
Scaling
Up Premium Travel
The
expansion forms part of Emirates’ extensive retrofit program—one of the largest
in aviation history—refurbishing 219 aircraft (110 A380s and 109 Boeing 777s)
at a rate of one aircraft every three weeks. To date, 67 aircraft have been
completed. Alongside this program, Emirates currently operates 9 Airbus A350s
to 15 destinations worldwide.
