Emirates continues to expand the reach of its Premium
Economy product, rolling out retrofitted Boeing 777s and next-generation A350
aircraft across key markets in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East,
Africa and Australia. The move will see Premium Economy introduced in ten new
cities and extended to additional flights in two existing destinations,
strengthening network consistency and enhancing the onboard experience.
More capacity with next-generation A350s
As part of the expansion, Emirates will deploy its
A350 aircraft on new daily services to Copenhagen, Phuket and Cape Town. These
additional frequencies are designed to complement existing schedules and
respond to rising demand ahead of the summer travel season, while offering
customers improved connectivity and Emirates’ latest cabin products.
By 1 July, Emirates will operate Premium
Economy–equipped A380s, Boeing 777s and A350s on more than 84 routes worldwide,
underlining the airline’s strategy of delivering a consistent premium offering
across its fleet.
Expanded services to Copenhagen, Phuket and Cape Town
From 1 June, a second daily flight will be added
between Dubai and Copenhagen. From 1 July, Emirates will introduce a third
daily service to both Phuket and Cape Town. All three routes will be operated
with the airline’s A350 aircraft, featuring Premium Economy alongside the
latest Business and Economy Class cabins.
The additional Copenhagen service improves connections
via Dubai to destinations across East Asia, South Asia and Africa, while also
benefiting passengers travelling from Asia-Pacific and key global cities with
onward links to Denmark.
The new Phuket frequency offers early-morning arrivals
that suit travellers connecting from major European cities and the Gulf, while
also providing improved onward connectivity from Thailand to Europe and the
Middle East.
In Cape Town, the third daily frequency strengthens
links with Europe, Asia, Australasia and key business markets, supporting both
leisure and corporate travel. Demand on the route has remained strong, with
consistently high load factors, particularly during peak periods.
Premium Economy rollout across regions
Beyond these three destinations, Emirates is extending
Premium Economy services across its network. In Europe and North America,
Barcelona, Mexico City, Rome and Copenhagen will see upgraded aircraft
deployments. In Asia, services to Cochin, Karachi, Taipei and Phuket are being
enhanced with Premium Economy cabins. Australia will see expanded Premium
Economy capacity on flights to Brisbane, while in Africa, Addis Ababa and Cape
Town are included in the rollout. In the Middle East, Basra, Kuwait City and
Tehran will also benefit from upgraded aircraft.
The airline will additionally introduce A350
operations to Rome from 29 March and to Taipei from 1 May.
Booking and availability
Tickets for all services can be booked via
emirates.com, the Emirates App, through travel agents, or at Emirates retail
stores. Aircraft deployment schedules may be brought forward if refurbishment
timelines allow.
With its continued investment in fleet modernisation
and Premium Economy expansion, Emirates is positioning itself to meet growing
demand while offering passengers a more refined and consistent travel
experience across its global network.
