The
GNTB therefore has a total of 63 members, including the tourism marketing
organisations of the 16 federal states, 32 companies and 15 corporations,
associations and marketing organisations. In addition, 16 sponsors support the
GNTB's global sales and marketing network.
The
GNTB's Board of Directors unanimously approved the companies' application for
membership at its 106th meeting on 21 November.
Petra
Hedorfer, CEO of the GNTB, explains: ‘Through GNTB membership, we offer
medium-sized companies in the German tourism industry a professional platform
for marketing their products in key source markets worldwide. At the same time,
our members represent the high performance standard of the tourism offering in
Germany. Together, we support the positioning of Germany as a quality travel
destination in international competition.’
Monika
Rieker, General Manager Germany and Austria at Kuoni Tumlare: ‘We are delighted
to be working even more closely with the German National Tourist Board in the
future. We are united by the goal of positioning Germany as a travel
destination with its many facets for our customers and inspiring them with
customised travel experiences. The potential is huge and with the GNTB's
worldwide network and our global presence, we are creating an ideal starting
point for increasing travel to Germany.’
Robert
Rückel, Managing Director of the Deutschlandmuseum: ‘The multi-award-winning,
immersive Deutschlandmuseum in Berlin is the first port of call for anyone who
wants to learn the basics of German history and have fun at the same time.
Together with the German National Tourist Board, we want to bring international
guests closer to our history.’
Takuma
Wohlfahrt, Director of Marketing and Communications at Käthe Wohlfahrt,
continues: ‘We have been continuously represented at GNTB tourism events since
1981. As a member of the GNTB, we are all the more delighted to invite people
from all over the world to experience the uniqueness of German Christmas, with
all its traditional manifestations, during a personal visit to Germany.’
